Details
The responsibilities of the Community Relations Committee include:

- Develop and propose community development plans and projects directed towards the growth
and revitalization of the borough to Council
- implement councils approved community development plans and projects
- develop and propose community development programs and events to Council
-coordinate with zoning code enforcement and committees regarding the review of zoning
property maintenance ordinance proposed changes to zoning and property maintenance
ordinances.
- Borough outreach to new residents.
- Borough outreach with business owners.
- Look for marketing opportunities to promote Cheswick outside of the borough.
- Work with Recreation board on community events.
- Consult with zoning committee chair, zoning/Planning Commission future development in the
borough.
- Work with Zoning to ensure that all ordinances are being followed in the business district.
- Implementation of comprehensive plan.
- Make suggestions to the council about new or old ordinances that should be added or removed
from the business district.
