• Airport Road

On Thursday, February 29 and Friday, March 1, 2024, Brodhead Creek Regional Authority (the water company) will be conducting fire hydrant flushing in your area between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The hydrant flushing is being conducted in advance of a fire flow test scheduled for Monday, March 4, 2024, at a new warehouse on Airport Road at the end the water system. You may experience dirty or discolored water during the hydrant flushing on February 29 – March 1, 2024, or after the fire flow testing is completed on Monday, March 4, 2024.

Customers should draw water for drinking and cooking purposes prior to flushing time. Anyone who is still experiencing cloudy water after the flushing times or on Monday, March 4, 2024, should call our office at (570)-421-3232.

Customer Tips:

1. Avoid running your tap water and using washing machine or dishwasher while crews are flushing in your
area.
2. If cloudy water occurs, please run the cold water for a few minutes until it clears. Please check for cloudy
water prior to using your washing machine or dishwasher to prevent staining.
