It's Leap Day, why not have the children Read to the Cats at Bailey's Cat Haven, located across the street from the library.
Reading to animals at a shelter can give children some much needed one-on-one time with a companion in a calm, non-stressful setting. It can also help skittish dogs and cats develop social skills that give them a better chance of being adopted.
Everyone participating will get to pick which book they would like to read to the cats.
This South Park Township Library children's program is located at Bailey's Cat Haven, across the street from the library. Parking is limited, but you are permitted to park in Gil's parking lot and walk over.
