Join Animal Rescue, Inc. on Saturday, August 19th, 2023 for our 19th Annual Dogs' Day in the Park! Join us from 10AM to 4PM at the Marge Goodfellow Park (1 Playground Alley, New Freedom, PA) for a day of fun and fundraising for the pets! Be sure to check out our 75+ vendors and rescues, games and contests, basket raffle, silent auction, flea market, lure course, adoptable pets, great vegan food and more!
New this year! See if your dog is the next Paw-casso with our Pawprint Art booth! Plus, Northern Central Railway will be offering Doggie Train Rides at 12PM and 2:30PM that day! Do you have spare change? Bring your extra change to the our Sales & Info tent for Coins for Critters!
The day's schedule is jam-packed with fun! We'll kick the day off at 10:30AM with our Best Kisser Contest, followed by the Clean-Ur-Plate Contest at 11AM. Hang around at 11:45AM for a Pound Fit Demo! Do you have the cutest pooch? Show them off during our Costume Contest at 1:15PM, followed by the Peanut Butter Licking Contest at 1:30. If you missed the Pound Fit Demo, you can catch another one at 2:15! Don't forget to check out Smooch-A-Pooch and the Lucky Duck game throughout the day!
While we've retired The Mutt Strutt 3K, we're hosting a Giving Event from Thursday, August 17th through Saturday, August 19th. Please feel free to make a donation now until Sunday, August 20th to support the pets!
This event has FREE admission! ATM & Port-a-Johns are on-site. No dogs in heat and no flexi-leads. Be prepared to clean up after your pet.
