Elizabeth Township, Smithdale, West Newton, Sutersville, Collinsburg and concerned persons, TAKE NOTE. Do you want to lose this family fun of the Yough River? A Chicago based company Invenergy aka Allegheny Energy Center, plans to construct a
649 megawatt natural gas fired power plant on the Youghiogheny River. This will be a MAJOR source of toxic emissions for our communities. This power plant will destroy the recreational fun and have an ecological impact on aquatic health of the Yough River. And, why allow this plant to risk your and your families’ health?
