The Limerick Drill is for Earl Township Emergency Management Staff to demonstrate that our Emergency Operation Plan meets all State and Federal requirement. Township residents have no action when we have a drill.
As always our performance is critical to Earl Township as well as Berks County to show we can deploy our Emergency Operation Plan during an actual event.
We are always looking for people in and outside the township to volunteer to join our staff to keep our residents safe during any emergency. Please notify any township supervisor or Emergency Management personal that you are interested in helping. Please feel free to come visit our Emergency Operation Center to understand what we do.
Drill night is not a good time to visit as our staff will be busy with the drill activities.
