Forks Township Parks and Recreation has partnered with Forks Trout Unlimited and the PA Fish & Boat Commission to bring SMART ANGLER youth aged 8-16. The SMART ANGLER program provides instruction on the types of fish found in Pennsylvania, fish habitats, safety, equipment, outdoor manners and protecting our water resources. A parent, guardian, or adult mentor must attend the program with their child. Each participant will learn basic fishing skills and will get a chance to put those skills to use. All participants in the program focus on being SMART anglers. Lunch, fishing gear, and bait will be provided. Anglers are welcome to bring their own gear if they have it. Fishing License is not needed for this event.
$10 per child
