Zoning Update: Community Input Event April 19th, 2023
Ingram and Crafton Boroughs are working together with consultants to update their Zoning Ordinances, and they want to hear from you! After hearing comments from the Crafton Planning Commission and the Zoning Update Steering Committee, the consultants are preparing to share draft zoning maps and district descriptions with you to get your feedback. Please join us on Wednesday, April 19th at 5:30 pm at the Stage in Crafton Park* to provide your input.

A zoning ordinance is an important piece of legislation for a local government. It sets the rules for where and what someone can build on properties within its boundaries. For example, in some areas a property owner may only be permitted to build a single-family home, but in others they are permitted to build a multifamily home like an apartment building. This allows municipal leaders to encourage development to happen in ways that benefit the community.
*In the case of inclement weather, we will hold the event at the Crafton Community Room.
