Tree Planting - Volunteers Needed

Turtle Creek Borough, through a grant from the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, TreeVitalize, and Tree Pittsburgh, will conduct a spring tree planting on Saturday, March 25th. The planting will occur from 9a until 12 noon. Volunteers are needed to assist with planting, in areas prepared by TreeVitalize. The spring locations are Joe Schubert Park at Brown Avenue, and along Thompson Street near TriBoro. Anyone interested should be at the Boro Building fire department area by 8:30a Saturday morning. A light lunch for the volunteers will follow in the Boro Building Community room. Anyone with questions may telephone Mayor Forgie @ 412.823.0154
