A meeting has been scheduled to discuss the reorganization of an animal response team in Beaver County, supported by PART (Pennsylvania Animal Response Team). This meeting will be held at the Beaver County 911 Center in Ambridge, on Saturday, March 25, at noon, and will be conducted by the Chiefs of Westmoreland, Fayette, Allegheny and Washington County CART Teams. In the past a fire department affiliation was necessary to be able to participate on the large animal rescue team, but the state regulations have changed, and no affiliation is necessary. Anyone with some knowledge and commitment to assist large and small animals during emergency incidents, is encouraged to attend this meeting. We will need a head count to provide handouts and seating for this meeting. So, if you or anyone you know would like to attend, please leave a message at the following number. Thank You.
