Identity theft continues to be a major security concern of everyone today. South
Park Township is offering one solution to the problem.
JVS Environmental will hold an on-site document destruction effort in the employee parking lot of the Administration Building between. The cost to shred a standard box carton (11” x 17” or smaller) is $6.00 per container. The cost for larger boxes (11” x 17” to 17” x 24”) is $9.00 per container. The contractor can shred a maximum of 10 boxes of paper per person on-site. Also, residents can have computer hard drives shredded at a cost of $10.00/each. Document destruction costs are the responsibility of the resident and paid directly to the contractor at the time of destruction. Either cash or personal checks with the appropriate identification are acceptable forms of payment. A certificate will be issued by the contractor to each resident verifying the proper disposal of the material. Please be reminded that newspapers and magazines can be recycled curbside without paying an additional fee.
