NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YANKEETOWN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Council of the Town of Yankeetown, Florida,
will hold a Special Public Meeting on October 14, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Town Hall, located
at 6241 Harmony Ln, Yankeetown, Florida 34498.
The purpose of this Special Meeting is to discuss, consider, and take action upon the following
item(s):
1. State Revolving Fund (SRF) Request for Inclusion (RFI): Discussion and approval to
submit a Request for Inclusion to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection
(FDEP) for low-interest financing and grant funding for critical infrastructure upgrades to
the Town Water Plant.
2. Resolution 2026-08: Consideration and adoption of Resolution 2026-08, authorizing the
submission of the SRF RFI application and designating authorized representatives to sign
all required application documents on behalf of the Town.
Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed matters. If
a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Town Council with respect to any matter
considered at this meeting, they will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, they
may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the
testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (F.S. 286.0105).
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons needing a special

447-2511 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
