Join us for our next Speaker Series, "The Moulstown Affair: The Murder of Christianna Harmon", presented by Tracy Crouse, Spring Grove Area Historical Preservation Society.
The presentation focuses on the brutal murder of Christianna Harmon, a Moulstown mother whose body was found on December 8, 1878 along what is now Moulstown Road.
It will discuss the events leading up to the crime, the suspects, motives, and details from the April, 1879 court trial, and the community's reaction and lasting folklore.
The case remains unsolved and surrounded by superstition.
