Notice is hereby given that the Porter Town Council (the “Town Council”) will meet in an Executive Session on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Porter Town Hall, 303 Franklin Street, Porter, Indiana 46304.
This Executive Session is being conducted by the Town Council for the following purposes:
• For discussion of strategy with respect to Initiation of litigation or litigation that is either pending or has been threatened specifically in writing pursuant to IC 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(2)(B).
• To discuss employee handbook changes pursuant to IC 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(16)(B).
• To have communications with an attorney that are subject to the attorney-client privilege, pursuant to IC 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(19).
No final action will be taken at said Executive Session, and no other subject matter will be discussed. Executive Sessions are not open to the public.
