Please join the Towns of Burns Harbor, Chesterton and Porter in honoring our fallen military personnel at the annual Memorial Day Event at Hawthorne Park scheduled for Monday, May 25th at 1:00pm in front of the Community Building (500 Ackerman Drive, Porter). The event will feature a series of wreath presentations, readings, and reflections from representatives of each of the three towns and American Legion Post 170. Music will be performed by select members of the Chesterton High School band program. The program will take place outdoors, however, will be moved inside the Community Building in the event of inclement weather.
