NOTE: This event this county event is in Olean or Salamanca, NY
On Saturday, April 25, 2026, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the US Drug Enforcement Agency, will be holding its National Pill Take Back Day. The public can drop off prescription and non-prescription medication for proper disposal.
We will not be taking any sharps during this take back. Vape pens or other e-cigarette devices can be collected only after the batteries are removed. Sheriff’s Office personnel is not responsible for removing batteries.
The following locations will be staffed by the Sheriff’s Department on:
Saturday, April 25th from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

Delevan Plaza at 40 North Main St, Delevan, NY
Cattaraugus County Building at 1 Leo Moss Dr, Olean, NY
