🌿 TRAILBLAZER STEWARDSHIP DAY 🌿
Event Two: Continuing the Path to Cattaraugus
We’re keeping the momentum going.
Our first Trailblazer Volunteer Day brought out a fantastic turnout—even on a chilly, damp April morning. That kind of commitment says everything about this community.
Now it’s time for Event Two.
We’re continuing the work to connect the Pat McGee Trail to the Village of Cattaraugus, building on the progress already made and taking the next steps forward.
💪 What We’ll Be Working On
âś” Continuing trail clearing further down the corridor
âś” Maintenance and detailing of the Stage 1 section
âś” Expanded cleanup around the future trailhead
🌿 Building Something Bigger
These events are more than workdays—they show the pride and commitment of our community and help position the Village as stewards of this historic railbed.
Future steps will include:
➡ Expanding work toward the Rumsey Street end of the rail segment
➡ Launching a community support petition campaign to help formalize and advance this trail connection
