🌳 Arbor Day Celebration & Community Cleanup 🌳
Join us this Saturday, April 25th, 10 AM at Crafton Park to celebrate Arbor Day! 🎉
We'll kick things off with a special proclamation ceremony at the snag tree site, followed by the unveiling of the new snag tree sign! 🪵
🌿 What's a snag tree? A snag tree is a standing dead or dying tree — typically at least 3 inches in diameter and several feet tall — that serves as a vital habitat for wildlife, including birds, mammals, and insects. These trees play a crucial role in our local ecosystem, and we're proud to celebrate and protect them right here in Crafton Park!
After the ceremony, we invite everyone to fan out across the park for a community cleanup! 🧤🛍️ Gloves and bags will be provided.
It's a wonderful way to show some love for our green spaces and celebrate the beauty of Crafton's parks. We hope to see you there! 💚
