The American Heart Association notes calling 911 and early CPR, by the public, as its first links in the Chain of Survival. Without these first two links there is a very low likelihood a patient will survive an out of hospital cardiac arrest.
With this in mind, South Park Township and Tri-Community South EMS are partnering to host a CPR class at the South Park Township Community Center on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 6:00 pm. This class will cover adult, child and infant CPR, obstructed airway (choking), and AED use.
Register at https://www.tcsems.org/. There are two registration options. Certification - The fee is $50 and you will receive an AHA Heartsaver certification valid for 2 years. Non-Certification - The fee is $30 and is the same great class and information, but you will not receive a certification card.
