Celebrate the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with an evening of creativity, expression, and community! Teens are invited to join South Park Township Library after hours for a special program that blends art, identity, and powerful voices.
We’ll kick off the night with our brand‑new button maker! Create buttons that reflect your dreams, values, identity, or the change you want to see in the world. Whether you design something bold, hopeful, or personal, your button becomes a wearable statement of who you are.
Then, step up to the mic or simply listen and cheer during our teen open mic session. Share original slam poetry, read a favorite quote, perform a short piece of music, or express yourself in any creative form you choose. No pressure, no judging, just a supportive space to be heard.
Pizza will be provided to fuel the creativity!
