Presents from Police is a group of local law enforcement officers from area boroughs and municipalities to come together and collect Christmas presents to be delivered to kids at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh who cannot be home for the holidays.
Presents from Police was founded by Aspinwall Police Officer David Nemec back in 2011. Officer Nemec solicits the help of neighboring and regional police departments. The presents are collected and then delivered by a fleet of police cars to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and the Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh.
