Individuals, groups/organizations and businesses may purchase a Christmas tree to be displayed on the courthouse lawn. The cost is $40. The cost includes a 5-6’ live tree, lights and a sign which will say the name(s) of the person(s) it memorializes, group/organization name, or business name.
Those who purchase a tree are responsible for decorating and undecorating their tree. It is encouraged that no breakable, valuable or irreplaceable ornaments or decorations be used.
New this year, trees can be reserved online beginning October 6 via the Havana Chamber of Commerce Facebook page. Those using the online option will be able to complete the form and pay the $40 fee online. Printed forms will be still be available for pick-up at the Mason County Democrat office or City Hall. The deadline to reserve a tree is Friday, November 14.
