The Township has announced that community Trick-or-Treat night will be moved to Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., out of an abundance of caution related to the anticipated Highlands home playoff football game scheduled for October 31.
With the excitement surrounding a potential playoff game, officials expect significantly increased traffic throughout the area, particularly near the stadium and main roadways. Playoff games typically draw large numbers of fans from outside the community, many of whom are unfamiliar with local streets, traffic patterns, and residential neighborhoods. Moving Trick-or-Treat to November 1 allows families to enjoy the evening safely and without the added challenges of game-day traffic.
The decision was made to ensure the best possible environment for both Halloween celebrations and the community’s support of the home team.
