Ring in the New Year with the First Annual Hatboro Hat Drop (think Ball Drop) at 6pm. (located behind Artifact Brewing and Reid Repairs at 2 S. York Road)
Wednesday, December 31, 2025, 4:00PM - 6:00PM at the Shoppers Lot at York & Moreland.
This event has gained a lot of interest over the last few days; we are expecting many to attend.
There is parking at the commuter lot behind the police station (Lot C on the attached map), enter off East Moreland Avenue. The Bank Street Parking lot (Lot A on the attached map) has plenty of space as well. The shopper's lot (Lot B on the attached map) will be closed and not accessible for vehicles, only pedestrians, borough vehicles and of course the Enterprise Fire Company Ladder Truck which will be dropping the hat. There is on street parking along York Road as well. If you park in the adjoining neighborhood, please follow all parking laws, do not block driveways.

This event is being held in the business district to assist our business owners.
Thank you to the Pennypack Events Committee & Borough Council for hosting this event, Royson Engineering Co. for creating and making the Hat, Enterprise Fire Company of Hatboro volunteers for dropping the Hat, and our staff who are giving up personal time on this busy evening to make sure this event happens.
Hatboro's own Royson Engineering has created a wonderful metal hat that will be slowly lowered by Enterprise Fire Company at 6pm to celebrate the New Year.
There will be games, activities for kids, vendors & food.
Then we encourage families to enjoy the evening in town!
Remember the Borough motto - Shop Small, Shop Local, Shop HATBORO.
