Description
***CRIME WATCH ALERT - NOVEMBER 5, 2026***
The Crafton Police Department took 2 reports on 11-04-2026 of vehicles that were damaged. One vehicle was parked on N. Linwood Ave., and the other vehicle was on Parke St. One of the vehicles had a window smashed out of it and the other vehicle had left a window rolled down. In both cases the steering column was damaged. Both vehicles were Hyundai sedans. Hyundai and Kia vehicles are still being targeted by the criminals. The Crafton Police Department suggests that you take extra precautions to secure your vehicle if you have either a Kia or Hyundai vehicle by using an anti-theft deterrent device such as “The Club” or a similar type of device. Please report any suspicious people immediately by dialing 911 and if you have any tips on suspects, please contact the police department at 412-921-2016.
Kia and Hyundai owners are reminded to take extra measures to secure their vehicles.
