Tips/advice:
The season of thanks and giving is quickly approaching. With that being said, please take measures to protect your packages/deliveries. This is the time of year that more packages are stolen from porches than other times of the year. Remember to make alternate plans for your packages if you do not expect to be home when they are delivered such as having them delivered to a neighbor, have a neighbor retrieve your package, sign for your package, ship to your place of employment, insurance on your package, have package delivered to the rear of the house or a spot on your porch that is out of view from street level, etc.
We are still in need of one more Crime Watch coordinator. If you are interested, please contact the police department.
LOCK YOUR VEHICLE AND BICYCLE!!!!!!!!!
***DO NOT LEAVE SPARE KEYS IN YOUR VEHICLE***
IT IS SUGGESTED TO NOT USE THE EXTERIOR MAIL DROP BOXES AT THE POST OFFICE AS THEY HAVE BEEN TARGETS NATIONWIDE. IF YOU ARE MAILING A CHECK/PAYMENT, PLEASE DEPOSIT THE MAIL INSIDE OF THE POST OFFICE ITSELF.
Parents, please look up the information regarding E-bikes, scooters, mopeds and dirt bikes and educate yourself and your children. Warnings have been issued and enforcement is ramping up with citations. Information can be found on previous Facebook posts by the Crafton PD or by searching online.
Curfew for juveniles (17 years old and younger).
Crafton Borough ordinance chapter 94.
