Safety Alert
Several residents in the Hartley Estates, near the intersection of Norris Street and Curran Drive, have reported sightings of a mountain lion roaming the residential area.
Residents and visitors to this area are urged to use caution, remain watchful for this potential threat, and be extra vigilant with their children during Halloween activities.
In the event you spot the mountain lion, we ask that you immediately contact New Mexico Game and Fish Officer Clay Moyers at (505) 841-9256 or the Curry County Sheriff’s Office at (575) 769-2335.
