The Borough has recently received numerous calls regarding the ongoing Columbia Gas project involving the Erdner Hill area of Avalon. We have had numerous discussions with representatives from Columbia Gas regarding their restoration schedule and efforts to keep residents informed.
As a result, Columbia Gas and their paving contractor, Mele Paving, provided a tentative schedule of work that will be completed over the next several weeks. The paving schedule is subject to change; we will continue to provide updates throughout the duration of the project.
We appreciate your patience. Both the Borough and Columbia Gas understand that this has been a long project, but the end is near. Columbia Gas and Mele Paving created an ambitious restoration schedule to ensure this project would be completed before the winter weather moves in.

November 2-3: Sylvan Ave (Erdner Ave - Sedalia Ave)
November 3-4: Sedalia Ave (1015 Sedalia Ave - Brick Alley)
November 4-6: Erdner Ave (Brick Alley - Sylvan Ave) and Chester Ave (Erdner Ave - Sylvan Ave)
Milling Operations Schedule:
November 5: Sedalia Ave (1015 Sedalia Ave - Erdner Ave)
November 6: Sylvan Ave (Sedalia Ave - Erdner Ave), Brick Alley (Sedalia Ave - Erdner Ave), and Erdner Ave (Brick Alley - Union Ave)
November 9: Sylvan Ave (Erdner Ave - Chester Ave) and Chester Ave (Erdner Ave - Union Ave)
