Description
The city will be performing waterline maintenance. Please prepare for this temporary service interruption in advance.
Date: October 26, 27, 28 & 29
Starts: Approximately 8:30 AM
Duration: 2 to 5 hours daily with updates being provided throughout the day/week
Crews will be connecting all mains and services to the new 12-inch water line. Residents in the affected areas will experience temporary water outages throughout the next 3 days (no outages are expected for Friday, October 30th.)
Affected area: 6th Street from Bobcat Blvd. south to FM 1173 (McCart St.), including all side streets connecting to 6th Street.
Side streets (north to south): N. Sharon, S. Sharon (including W. Sharon and Christi Ln.), E. Huffman.
E. Llyod and E. Lake, Brook Circle.
BEFORE THE OUTAGE:
Fill pitchers or containers with water for drinking and cooking and fill a bucket or bathtub for flushing toilets.
WHEN SERVICE RETURNS:
Air or discolored water is possible. Run a cold-water tap for a few minutes until it runs clear before using Appliances.
