The Cedar Key Police Department is taking part in DEA National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. Clean out your medicine cabinet and drop off unused or expired medications for safe, free disposal.
When: Saturday, October 24, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: Old City Hall, 490 2nd Street, Cedar Key
Accepted: Prescription and over-the-counter pills, tablets, capsules, and patches. Vape pens with batteries removed.
Not accepted: Needles or sharps, liquids, and illegal drugs.
It's free, anonymous, and no questions asked. Medications left sitting at home can be lost, stolen, or misused. Help keep our families and community safe.
