🌬️ ASHFORD RESIDENTS: MORE WINDY WEATHER IS HEADED OUR WAY! 🌬️
As our community continues cleaning up from Hurricane Isaias, we want everyone to be aware of another round of windy conditions expected to move through our area.
According to the National Weather Service, wind gusts of 30–40 MPH are possible beginning Friday night and continuing through the weekend into early next week.
⚠️ WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?
With trees and property already weakened from last weekend’s storm, it may not take much additional wind to cause more damage.
🌳 Damaged trees and limbs could come down.
🏠 Loose tarps and temporary repairs could be affected.
💨 Storm debris, outdoor furniture, and other unsecured items could become airborne.
✅ TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO PREPARE!
Please secure anything around your home that could blow away, avoid damaged trees, and use extra caution when traveling.
The good news is that rain is not expected with this system, but the wind alone could create problems.
We know everyone is still working to get things back to normal, and the last thing anyone needs is more damage. A little preparation now could prevent additional problems later.
