Description
The Arts and Culture Advisory Council is hosting its inaugural Hike the Hills event on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 10AM.
A fun, FREE trek up and down the iconic hills of the Borough. Explore 12 hills over 5 miles! All ages and abilities are welcome. Rain or shine.
Park and gather at the Municipal Building located at 4400 Greensburg Pike. Registration helps, but day of participants are welcome.

Hike the Hills Route:
1. Turn RIGHT onto AVENUE F
2. Make a sharp RIGHT onto AVENUE L
3. Sharply turn RIGHT again at AVENUE K, to continue up the towards ATLANTIC
4. Turn LEFT onto ATLANTIC
5. Cross SUMNER and LENOX, to turn RIGHT and walk up MARION. ALTERNATIVELY: Continue along ATLANTIC to meet the group at the pickleball courts in KOCH PARK.
6. At the TOP OF THE HILL, turn LEFT onto GREENSBURG PIKE.
7. Turn LEFT onto ARNOLD to continue down the PEDESTRIAN STEPS into KOCH PARK.
8. Keeping STRAIGHT, exit KOCH PARK, and take a RIGHT onto FILMORE.
9. Make a LEFT onto WATT LANE, and continue along the brick PEDESTRIAN PATH (changes to gravel) to BRADDOCK.
10. At BRADDOCK, turn LEFT.
11. At the POOL PARKING LOT, turn LEFT into FOREST HILLS PARK parking lot.
12. Turn RIGHT at the end of the POOL PARKING LOT, onto the FOREST TRAIL.
13. Continue along FOREST TRAIL, along edge of BALL FIELD, exiting FOREST HILLS PARK with a LEFT onto ARDMORE.
14. Walk in single file along ARDMORE.
15. At LENOX, turn LEFT to begin walking up the hill.
16. Turn LEFT onto WINDSOR, the steepest street in Forest Hills at 25° grade.
17. Turn RIGHT into the ALLEY at the TOP OF THE HILL, and continue along until making the last turn RIGHT onto BARCLAY.
18. Continue along BARCLAY until you reach the beginning!
