Dear High Street Resident:
Farhat will begin the paving project on High Street beginning October 26, 2026, weather permitting. High Street will be closed to vehicle traffic during this project. Please have all vehicles removed from High Street by 6:00 A.M. on October 26, 2026. Residents should not park along High Street or Erie Street below the wall.
US Mail- High Street residents should pick up their mail at the Post Office during the week of October 26th. The Postmaster will hold your mail aside and will be expecting you to pick up your mail during this time. The Postmaster has been notified of the change. Regular mail delivery the week of October 19, 2026.
Waste Management will not be picking up trash the week of October 26, 2026. The dumpster will be available across from the salt shed of the Borough building for residents to dispose of the bagged garbage for the week of October 26. Waste Management has been notified. Regular trash pick up the week of October 19, 2026.
Dauphin County 911 Communications have been notified, and response plans have been made.
The paving project may take longer than anticipated and go into the week of November 2, 2026.
