Description
The Borough of Hatboro would like to acknowledge an unfortunate omission in the recently delivered Hatboro Happenings newsletter. The Millbrook Society and Museum, a valued tenant of the Pennypack Community Center and an important steward of Hatboro's rich history, was inadvertently left out of an article recognizing organizations located within the facility.
This omission was not intentional and in no way reflects the Borough's appreciation for the Millbrook Society, its volunteers, or the vital role the museum plays in preserving and sharing Hatboro's heritage. We sincerely apologize for this oversight and any concern it may have caused.
The Borough would also like to remind all community organizations that we welcome and encourage submissions for inclusion in our newsletters, social media platforms, Savvy Citizen notifications, and other communication channels. Despite several requests for content during preparation of this newsletter, limited information was received from some organizations. We are committed to highlighting the many groups that make Hatboro a vibrant community and encourage all organizations to stay engaged with Borough communications.
We value the partnerships we share with our community groups and look forward to continuing to promote their events, programs, and contributions throughout the year.
Again, please accept our sincere apologies for this omission.
For more information about the Millbrook Society and Museum (located at 130 Spring Avenue inside the Pennypack Community Center, including exhibits, events, and local history resources, please visit their website.
Thank you for helping us celebrate and preserve Hatboro's history.
