Dear Bloom Twp Residents: It has come to our attention that a flyer is being distributed by someone throughout Collegeview Acres, and perhaps other areas of our township as well. Unfortunately, this flier contains some inaccurate information, so this alert is meant to arm you with the facts. The flyer says we are having an Emergency Meeting next Wednesday, Oct 14 at 6pm regarding the proposed Grid Growth project (high voltage lines with excessively large towers to support them). The truth is we are having our regular meeting that evening, not an emergency meeting, to conduct regular township business, which will likely include a discussion about Grid Growth. A Fairfield County Commissioner will also attend to discuss the county's land use plan. While he is there, the public is welcome to make comments (under 3 minutes) and ask him or any of us questions. We welcome your attendance at our regular meeting that evening at 8490 Lithopolis Road NW, Carroll.
