Food insecurity affects 1 in 8 people across our region — including 1 in 5 children — and many of those neighbors are working families, seniors on fixed incomes, veterans, and people experiencing temporary hardship. This October, Senator Wayne Fontana is organizing a food and donation drive to help fight hunger in our community, and there are two easy ways to help:

Every $1 donated provides up to 3 meals for children, families, and seniors across Southwestern PA!
📲 Scan the QR code on the flyer to donate directly to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
📦 Drop Off Food Items
Drop off donations at either of Senator Fontana's district offices:
🗓️ October 1 – October 29 | Monday – Friday | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
📍 Brookline — 1039 Brookline Blvd., Suite 2, Pittsburgh, PA 15226
📍 Kennedy — Kenmawr Plaza, 500 Pine Hollow Rd., Kennedy Twp., PA 15136
Most needed items:
🥫 Canned fruits (in 100% juice) • Low sodium canned vegetables, beans & soup • Canned tuna or chicken • Whole-grain cereal, oats & pasta • Peanut butter • Household & hygiene items • Diapers • Any nonperishable item!
