PUBLIC NOTICE
City of Krum – Demolition of Former Fire Department Building
The City of Krum would like to inform residents that demolition of the old fire department building on West Lake Street will begin on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, and is expected to continue over the next several days. Work will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
This demolition is being done to make room for the remodeling and improvements to the city's water plant facilities. These upgrades are an important investment in providing safe, reliable water service to our community for years to come.
During work hours, residents may notice increased noise, dust, and heavy equipment in the area. Please use caution when traveling near West Lake Street, follow all posted signs and traffic directions, and keep children and pets away from the work zone.
