Boil Water Notice Rescinded
On September 30, 2026, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required our
public water system, City of Kenedy, PWS ID 1280002 to issue a Boil Water Notice (BWN) to
inform customers on parts of 72 West, FM 2102, Robinhood, Nottingham, 181 South on the
West side, PR 6285, CR 398 and any resident/business who experienced low water pressure or
loss of water, The Texas Commission on Environmental , that due to the possible presence of
contaminants or an interruption in service, water from our system must be boiled prior to
consumption.
Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure,
disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test
results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of October 2, 2026.
