LAST CHANCE – FREE RECYCLING CAN! – PLEASE LET US KNOWS BY OCTOBER 31ST.
Wesleyville Borough still has hundreds of free recycling cans available to Borough residents—but this may be your last chance to get one!
These cans were originally purchased through a grant around 2019 and have been available to residents for years as part of the Borough’s curbside recycling program.
Never gotten one? — Now is the time!
Already have one but you're a SUPER-RECYCLER? You can request a second can!
Historically, the Borough has limited recycling cans to one per household to ensure that every household has an opportunity to receive one. Now, hundreds of cans remain, taking up valuable and limited storage space at the Borough's facility.
The Borough assumes that residents who wanted a can have had an opportunity to receive one. As a result, Borough Council is considering transferring the remaining cans to another municipality for use in its curbside recycling program.
So, if you've been meaning to get one—or you've been waiting for your chance to get a second one, don't wait!
IMPORTANT: These cans are provided for curbside recycling only. They are not garbage cans, whether they are painted black or not. If they are used for household trash, they will not be collected by the garbage crew.
How to Get Yours
All cans will be delivered directly to your home by the Borough's Public Works Crew.
• Online: Visit Wesleyville.gov/recycling and complete the request form.
• In Person: Stop by the Borough Office during open hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday | 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
Please let us know by October 31st if you would like another bin.
