Flood Watch issued September 29 at 7:56PM CDT until September 30 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Lubbock TX
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of the South Plains, including the following
counties, Hale, Hockley, Lubbock, Lynn, Terry and Yoakum.
* WHEN...Through Wednesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Multiple rounds of heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected
through early Wednesday. Storms may move repeatedly over the same
areas, which combined with high rainfall rates may result in
flash flooding.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
