Curry County Road Closures Update
The Curry County Road Department is reporting multiple road closures throughout the County due to continued rainfall and flooding.
The following roads are currently CLOSED:
• CR 14 between SR 209 and CRK
• CR 16 between CRL and CRM
• CRN between CR 14 and CR 16
• CR 14 between SR 77 and SR 108
• CR 10 between CRE and CRG
• CR 6 between CRI and CRG
Curry County Road Department crews are continuing to monitor and evaluate road conditions throughout the County. Additional closures may be necessary as rainfall continues and conditions change.
Motorists must not enter any roadway marked or barricaded as closed. Never drive through flooded roads or around barricades. Floodwater may be deeper and moving faster than it appears, and the roadway beneath it may be damaged or washed out. Turn around and choose a safe alternate route.
Drivers should use extreme caution on all County roads, monitor changing weather and road conditions, and avoid unnecessary travel until conditions improve.
The Road Department appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as crews work to monitor and address these conditions.
