Flood Watch issued September 21 at 11:43AM EDT until September 23 at 8:00AM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio, including the following
areas, Belmont, Monroe and Noble, Pennsylvania, including the
following areas, Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, Higher Elevations of
Fayette, Higher Elevations of Westmoreland, Washington and
Westmoreland, and West Virginia, including the following areas,
Brooke, Eastern Preston, Eastern Tucker, Marion, Marshall,
Monongalia, Ohio, Preston, Ridges of Eastern Monongalia and
Northwestern Preston, Western Tucker and Wetzel.
* WHEN...Through Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms with locally heavy
rainfall are expected tonight through Tuesday night. Additional
rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected on average, with locally
higher totals possible. Additional flash flooding is possible,
particularly in areas that have recently received heavy rain.
