Description
🚧 Road Resurfacing Notice — Linwood Park Alley (Alley U) & Fountain Street
Crafton Borough has contracted with Alex E. Paris Contracting Company, Inc. to provide road resurfacing services on Linwood Park Alley (Alley U) and Fountain Street between Promenade and Sycamore.
Work is scheduled to begin Monday, September 21st, weather permitting, between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
⚠️ Important Reminders for Residents:
🚗 No Parking — Vehicles parked on the street during construction may be towed at the owner's expense. There must be NO parking at any time during the period of construction, even if there appears to be no active work taking place.
🌿 Property Prep — Please mark all lawn sprinkler heads and lines, invisible dog fences, French drain lines, and pipe outlets on your property. Remove any curbside basketball hoops prior to the start of the project. Items within 12" +/- of the back of the curb may be in the public right-of-way.
🛣️ What to Expect:
Roadway Milling — Driveway access will be maintained at all times, but please limit use as much as possible.
Tack Coat — A layer of tack coat will be placed prior to paving. This can be very difficult to remove from vehicles — please avoid driving on it.
Roadway Paving — Hot-mix asphalt will follow. Please limit travel in the area during placement.
Pavement Sealing — Once complete, joints and curbs will be sealed. Vehicles cannot park on the street during this operation.
