Description
The City of Lake Helen is pleased to announce that the drinking water issue impacting Lake Helen and Cassadaga residents, reported on September 12, 2026, has been corrected.
💧 It is no longer necessary to boil your water.
The City’s water system was re-tested for coliform bacteria throughout the distribution system, and all test results were negative for Total Coliform and E. coli.
Well #2 remains offline while additional chlorination and clearance sampling are completed. The well has not supplied water to the drinking water system since the positive result was identified on September 12.
We sincerely appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation during this process and apologize for any inconvenience.
