PEOPLES GAS MAINLINE RENEWAL -
Note: This is not a Borough project. We are communicating with the utility to provide updates and providing them when they are available.
Description: Peoples Gas is replacing 50+ year old bare steel lines with new durable lines that are anticipated to last 50-100 years. This is an initiative PG is taking throughout their network to prevent gas leaks before they occur and lines fail.
Ardmore Blvd Area Project:
Starting the week of September 21st, work will begin on Lafayette and Bevington Roads. This is anticipated to cause delays on the eastbound side of Ardmore Blvd. and will last approximately two weeks.
It is anticipated that they will then continue to westbound work. The entirety of this project will extend through November and into early December.
Roberta Drive Area Project:
Milling and paving was slated to occur starting September 14th. Soft surface/yard restoration will occur after milling and paving is completed or at a time that is appropriate for successful restoration results. Roads affected:
Roberta Drive
Williams Place
Ridge Avenue
Maine Street
Geisler Drive
Parise Road
Burlington Road Area Project:
Active construction will continue through the end of month and into October on the following roads. Road reconstruction will occur later in the year.

Batavia Road
Edgewood Road
Bevington Road
2026 ROAD PROGRAM -
Soft surface restoration (i.e. grass) and final items as identified through inspections are set to be addressed across the next two weeks.
COMPREHENSIVE RECONSTRUCTION: AVENUE D -
Mobilization of equipment is slated to begin next week (September 21st). Work will tentatively start the following week (September 28th).
