Hatboro Parking Town Hall Update
The Borough of Hatboro held a town hall meeting on Monday, September 14, for residents of the following streets:
Broad Street, South Linden Avenue, Loller Road, Moreboro Road, Manor Road, Oakdale Avenue, Warren Road, Springdale Avenue (between Tanner and Summit), Wilson Road, Wood Street, Pershing Avenue, Rorer Avenue, South Penn Street, North Penn Street, Park Avenue, and Drexel Road.
The meeting was very well attended and provided an engaging opportunity for residents to share their experiences and valuable insights with the Parking Commission. We sincerely appreciate everyone who took the time to participate and contribute to the discussion.
A special thank you goes to the Parking Commission and Fire Marshal Valesky for their extensive work in preparing the presentation, gathering facts, and documenting parking conditions throughout these neighborhoods. The Parking Commission is comprised of dedicated volunteers, many of whom live in the affected areas.

Next Steps
The Parking Commission will meet to review the information gathered during the town hall. To ensure everyone has an opportunity to stay informed, the presentation will be posted on the Borough website at www.myhatboro.org. Residents who were unable to attend are encouraged to review the materials and submit comments or questions.

The next phase of the process will include:
Reviewing the feedback received at the town hall
Consulting with the Chief of Police
Meeting with representatives from the Fire Department
Working with the Borough Engineer to evaluate potential solutions
Please note that any proposed parking changes must be discussed at future Borough Council meetings. Additionally, amendments to the existing parking ordinance may be required before any changes can be implemented. As a result, this process will take time and careful consideration.
A Reminder to Residents
As we continue evaluating parking concerns, we ask everyone who parks on Borough streets to be mindful of emergency vehicle access. Please leave adequate space to ensure that police, fire, and emergency medical vehicles can safely travel through our neighborhoods when responding to emergencies.
