Special Weather Statement issued September 13 at 6:26PM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 626 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from near Denton Hill State Park to near East
Branch Dam moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Wellsboro, Cameron, Wharton, Coudersport, Port Allegany, Emporium,
Roulette, Galeton, Betula, Gaines, Wilcox, Keating Summit,
Sizerville, Cherry Springs State Park, Denton Hill State Park,
Stevenson Dam, Lyman Run State Park, Cross Fork, Elk River and Ole
Bull State Park.
Seek shelter inside a building.
