Dear Bloom TWP residents:
You are likely aware of a proposed high-voltage transmission line project across Ohio to support surging electricity demands from new industrial projects across central Ohio. Several areas in Bloom Township could be affected. Please know that your Bloom Township Trustees and Officials are aware of this project and have concerns. We have reached out to Grid Growth, the company planning the project and invited them to our meetings, however, they keep declining. On Oct 1, from 4-7:30pm, Grid Growth will hold an open house at the Crossroads event center on 1234 West Fair Ave in Lancaster. We will have representatives at that open house and hope to obtain accurate information. We hope our residents also attend this open house. We have also consulted our legal counsel to ensure our rights are protected and enforced. We are collaborating with other government entities to ensure our residents' voices are heard. We will keep you posted as we learn more.
