Good morning,
Littlestown neighbors, this is my first public message to you as the new Mayor, and it comes on a day of remembrance. Today marks the 25th anniversary of the tragic events of September 11th, 2001. For those of us who remember, we can look back at this day and see the fear of the unknown, and the sadness of loss; but we must also remember the strength of community through the heroic love of the first responders, and the volunteers that displayed the best qualities of our humanity. They have shown us who we can be in the worst of times, and we should take that love of community and put it into action everyday of our lives. I pray for all those affected by this tragedy, and I pray for our community. I am grateful to have the opportunity to serve each and every one of you.
