Notice is hereby given by the Board of Supervisors of Cumberland Township that it will hold a public hearing on September 22, 2026, at 6:30 P.M. at the Township Office at 1370 Fairfield Road, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania to receive public comment on the proposed zoning map amendment summarized below. The Cumberland Township Board of Supervisors intends to consider for adoption and vote upon the enactment of the proposed ordinance summarized below during the regular meeting, which will begin immediately following the adjournment of the public hearing scheduled for September 22, 2026. The title of the proposed Ordinance is “AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CUMBERLAND TOWNSHIP, ADAMS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING THE CUMBERLAND TOWNSHIP ZONING MAP, AS ADOPTED AND MADE PART OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE IN CHAPTER 27, PART 3, SECTION 27301(2) OF THE TOWNSHIP OF CUMBERLAND CODE OF ORDINANCES, BY REMOVING ADAMS COUNTY TAX PARCEL 09E12-0070---000, 09E12-0068---000, 09E12-0069---000, 09E12-0072---000, 09E12-0072B—000, 09E12-0071A—000, 09E12-0071---000, 09E12-0013---000, 09E12-0011---000, 09E12-0014---000, 09E12-0015---000, 09E120016---000, 09E12-0017---000, FROM THE RESIDENTIAL (R) DISTRICT AND DESIGNATING SAID PARCEL AS PART OF THE MIXED USE (MX) DISTRICT AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD MULTI-FAMILY OVERLAY DISTRICT, AND AMENDING CHAPTER 27, PART 21 OF THE TOWNSHIP OF CUMBERLAND CODE OF ORDINANCES TO INCLUDE THE ZONING MAP AMENDMENT SET FORTH HEREIN.”
